Description
The Ahuja APM-202CU Paging System Control Unit is a professional rack-mount paging and switching unit designed for multi-zone public address systems. It works in combination with the APM-201RM and up to two amplifiers to create a 6-zone zonal paging system with clear priority-based control for announcements, background music, and emergency signals. This unit is ideal for installations where controlled announcements, zone-wise audio routing, and emergency priority are critical. Multi-Zone Paging & Control The Ahuja APM-202CU Paging System Control Unit allows paging and audio control across six independent zones . Each zone can be selected individually, or all zones can be addressed together using the ALL CALL switch. This makes it suitable for large facilities that require targeted announcements without disturbing all areas. Speech & Background Music Management The system provides separate 100V inputs for: Speech announcements Background music Speech input automatically gets priority over background music , ensuring important announcements are clearly heard at all times. Background music can also be routed selectively to chosen zones. Emergency & Priority Features For critical situations, the unit includes: Emergency trigger input Alarm input with highest priority These features ensure emergency announcements override all other audio sources, making the system reliable for safety-focused installations.
